An upright perennial legume, fine stemmed, very leafy that makes an extremely lush high protein food plot for low fertility, low PH and low drainage areas.

· Planting: 10# per acre minimum.

· Planting depth: ¼ - ½ inch.

· General Planting Dates:
North until August 1st
South until September 30th.

· May be hand or machine planted into a fine, firm seedbed or broacdcast on top before rain.

· Follow soil Test guidelines!

· Trefoil can reseed itself.

· Lifespan: 5 -10 years

· 250# 5-14-42 plus 800# lime per acre

· Fertilization: 100# per acre annually in spring.

 A blend of 2 varieties of trefoil and 3 varieties of clover to provide additional high protein in the summer when antler development is crucial and fawns are nursing. Grower is also high in winter hardiness and should be planted in areas with modest drainage.

· Planting Rate: 10-12 # per acre minimum

· Planting Depth: ¼ - ½ inch maximum.

· General Planting Dates:
North until August 1st
South until September 30th.

Deer Creek Deer Oats is a food plot seed that was developed in northern Wisconsin to provide ample amounts of high quality fall forage for the northern one third of the U.S. Deer Creek Deer Oats will provide a fast growing, high sugar forage that deer will flock to in mid to late fall.

What is Deer Creek Oats?
Deer Creek Deer Oats is an oat product developed to provide more fall growth than other products, while retaining high sugr content and protein levels.

Is Deer Creek Oats an attractant?
Yes it is a very effective product at bringing deer into your plot in mid to late fall.

Food Plot Tip

Rake away debris in several areas around your stand. loosen soil, seed in Trefoil Trophy Rack Deer Blend, lightly cover with soil and water with a solution of Miracle Grow plant food. Check your State Game Regulations.

Food Plot Maintenance:

Keep food plot at "growing stage" by clipping back to 6" height. This will allow plants to produce the highest protein level possible.
